These BRASS FEDERAL NAVY BUTTONS from the estate of a Palm Desert, CA collector appear to date from the CIVIL WAR. The EAGLE is quite primitive in appearance and looking to the left in keeping with the era. The ANCHOR and STARS identify the buttons as FEDERAL NAVY. The BUTTONS range in size from 3/8 to 7/8 inches in diameter and are in very good condition without dings or significant scratches.
