Andrews, a civilian and occasional Union spy. proposed a plan to Brigadier Ormsby M. Mitchel to steal a Confederate train in Georgia, and travel north to Chattanooga, burning bridges and creating havoc behind enemy lines. If successful, the mission would greatly aid Mitchel's advance to Chattanooga. A must have for all Civil War buffs.
