This is a highly detailed re-creation of the original Star Trek TV classic officer's style braid as worn by Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekov, Uhura, and Sulu. This item comes as 4 [four] 13" long strips by 3/4" wide and 1" between the scrolls,plus 10 'dashes' and should be sewn on. This is enough braid for a captain OR for both a lieutenant and lieutenant commander.

A great deal of research went into the creation of this braid, including having handled different variations of the braid from the different seasons! This is a great deal at a good price!
