This is beautiful silver collector plate that was minted by the Danbury Mint in 1976. It is a Limited Edition of 7500 and is number 1230. It is part of the AMERICAN BICENTENNIAL collection and it is titled:Declaration of Independence- 1776. The plate is solid Sterling Silver,which is marked on the back,and ithas 24 kt gold engravings. It weighs approximately 235 grams or 7.5 troy ounces, and measures 8 inches across. It featuresthe signers of the Declaration of Independence gathered around the table, in this scene of American history.The back of the plate reads: The Danbury Mint, Declaration of Independence, Limited Edition of 7500, Issued in 1976 in 24 KT Gold on solid Sterling Silver, No. 1230.This is a quality plate that is in circulated condition.
