This cel set-up, “JustAround the River Bend,” recreates Sequence 5, Scene 25 of the film: Pocahontas sings to Meeko and Flit about howher uncertain future is like a river, never revealing what’s just around thebend. This cel is number 153 of 500, originally released at aprice of $2,400, beautifully framed and matted.This was purchased directly from The Disney Store, stored in anon-smoking home, but never displayed, never hung, never exposed to light. There are a couple of minor flaws (a minor nick onthe back edge of one corner of the frame, and a surface scratch on theglass/plexi in the lower right corner), shown in the photos, and are theas-purchased condition. The originalfinish on the frame is made to look slightly distressed and mottled. The matting is a gold edged linen which addsto the overall high-end look of this beautiful artwork. Retailed at $2,400.
