You are offerding on a Disney Limited Edition Serigraph Cel of \"Three Happy Chappies\" from The Three Caballeros. Encolosed in it\'s original frame and matting. Double matted and reads The Three Caballeros. In absolute mint condition. The image is 13\" W x 10\" H. - Frame 22\" W x 19\" H. The Certificate of Authenticity is affixed to the back of the frame and reads:

\"This is a limited-edition sericel from Walt Disney\'s animated classic, The Three Caballeros (1945). This edition, \"Three Happy Chappies\", from Sequence 1, Scene 19, features Donald Duck and his Latin American friends Jose Carioca from Brazil and Panchito from Mexico, celebrating their camaraderie as \"happy amigos\".
This sericel is a reproduction of a hand-inked, hand-painted animation cel master specially created by The Animated Animations Company and artists at the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department. American Atelier of Gardena, Ca, used this master cel as reference in the production of these sericels. Eighteen colors were used to recreate the color image, each of which has been exactingly screen-printed, one color at a time, onto the cel.
The background scene accompanying this cel is a fine art recreation printed on acid-free paper. the Animated Animations Company and Disney supervised the faithful recreation of the background accompanying this cel. While not an originally production background, original layouts and frames from the film were used as reference. Included as plussing, each mat is enhanced with a South American-inspired border design and a remarque of The Three Caballeros logo.
The Animated Animations Company under license from Walt Disney Art Classics, published this limited edition in 2005. It consists of a general edition of 500 sericels and a Hand-Painted edition, created not via serigraphy, but by hand by artists at the Walt Disney Studios Ink and Paint Department, of 25 pieces, numbered HP1/25 to HP25/25 for a maximum total of 525. Walt Disney Art Classics and The Animated Animations Company approve the techniques used in the production of this edition and the proofs thereof. Conforming to the practice of fine art printing, the screens used to create the edition are destroyed when the edition is closed.
The hand-inked, hand-painted cel master and background are archived with the publisher. There are no numbered impressions in this general edition. No additional multiples of this image, including proofs, have been produced in this limited edition except only as necessary to replace pieces in this edition that are damaged in production of shipment, but still maintaining the stated edition size Portions of the original elements used in the creation of the cel set-up may be offered for sale at a later date.
