Vintage Grigsby-Grunow-Hinds Co. MAJESTICbrand radio speaker horn with driver base circa 1925-1926. The cygnet horn is made of very lightweight celluloid plastic and has a brass collar on the small end. The metal base has the original black crackle finish on it. Selling this As Found.
The base has two wire leads on it, but just one of them has a metal tip on the end. We did try touching it to a battery anyway, but got no sound or static. The base has some paint wear, scratches, soil, light rust.
The celluloid cygnet horn is good- some surface scuffs and scratches but no cracks. There is 1 light dent near the bell edge- see photo below.
