Selling 1952 Dodge M37 Power Wagon……aka the “Green Machine.” This thing is a blast to drive and you’reguaranteed to get more thumbs up than if you were driving a Lamborghini. There’s something very satisfying about pullingup next to someone in a jacked up truck or 4wd, that has never even seenoff-road, when you are driving a real war machine.

The previous owner said that this truck served in Korea, butI’ve never substantiated this. It startsgreat even in cold weather and drives well.I’ve driven it to work (40 mile round trip) a dozen times or so with noissues. The truck does 50mph, tracksstraight, and the brakes and steering work well. I’ve also taken the truck off-road a coupleof times, and the transfer case operates fine.There is very little rust. Just alittle below the headlights, which is very common for these vehicles. I recently put on some brand new 38”reproduction military tires. The truckstill uses the original 24V electrical system.

Known issues......

Heater blower motor quit working about sixmonths ago.
The horn stopped working at about the same time.
Passenger windshield wiper is slow, butworks. Driver side wiper has neverworked since I’ve owned the truck.
I believe 3rd gear is supposed to be synchronized,but doesn’t seem to be. Simply doubleclutch for upshifts and rev-match for downshifts and it shifts without issue.
Ammeter is non-functioning.

Overall, this truck is in very good condition for a 62 yearold unrestored vehicle. I hate to sellit, but need to downsize the fleet a bit.Too many projects.
