From a theatrical costume inventory. The lining is stamped \"Zeugner & Riedel // Theater- und Masken-Kostüme // Halle a. S. // Leipziger Straße 61/62\". The collar, which is red with silver embroidery appears to be from Garde-Dragoner-Regiment Nr.1, whereas the cuffs are rose and would therefore be from Dragoner-Rt. Nr. 8. Because of the stitching, the collar appears to be original to the garment, whereas the cuffs may be a later repair, assuming that the original cuffs were damaged. The cuffs, however, show signs of wear that are consistent with the rest of the tunic.
