This partially restored DUKW has been modified but not altered fromoriginal which means that it can be restored as an original or kept as is as aroad and water worthy vehicle.
Engine, transmission, and transfer case are original and ingood running condition
Modifications include upgraded carburetor and ignitionsystem and a conversion to 12 V system
Additional lighting and electrical control panel. Electricalsystem has been converted to 12 volts with 100amp alternator and a back upbattery system
Three additional Electricbilge pumps will keep it dry while docked. While supplementing original pumps.
Electronic dash controls entire electrical system independentlywith re-settable circuit breakers and isolation switches
All new wiring
Lights upgraded to 12V
Added turn signals, to insure highway safety and boatnavigation lights to be legal for night cruses.
AB battery switch (B backup battery wired but not installed.
Amp, voltmeter, oil pressure, and temp gauges are new.
