Item Description: This is an original leather knot for a Japanese Non-Commissioned officers sword in Shin Gunto mountings from World War 2. It is in Excellent condition. It is made of a rich brown leather, aged well, and roughly 26 inches long (66cm). It features a metal buckle in addition to the leather strap and knot. There are no stains, no tears, and only slight wear in the form of light cracking along the surface that is expected with a leather item of this age. I think it would be an outstanding addition for a collector of WW2 militaria or Japanese swords.
