-Post Civil War era sword in very nice condition. Beautifully etched sword etched \"Geo T. Wildes\". We believe Wildes was in the 16th Regiment from NH. I will include the information I have found. This sword post-dates Wildes death, so possibly a memorial ?

Marked EA Armstrong, Chicago IL
Believed to be 505F model - 29-1/4\" blade (9/16\" width) -35-1/2\" total length
Line Officers Sword w/nickel plated steel scabbard
Fish Skin Grip and plated Mountings
Nicely decorated Spring & Fall Guard
Blade & guard etched & cast differently on each side
diamond shaped blade w/ intact tip

There is a small dent on the scabbard, between the rings. Also shows expected signs of speckling through the plating and normal wear on the grip, etc. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES for the best representation of quality & condition. If you need more pictures, LET ME KNOW !!
