an exquisite French powder flask, made in Paris, with solid silver mounts.
One of the best that I found in a while...
Offered at this \"dead game\" scene powder flask by the famous maker J.N.N. a Paris.
The body has a panoply of hunting articles included dead game, a boar, arrows, quiver, hunting swords, shotgun and much more.
\"6 ONCES\" has been stamped near the throat.
The quiver of arrows bears the maker`s mark: J.N.N. A PARIS.
All fittings are solid silver and bear French hallmarks.
Suspension rings, collar, top and nozzle...ALL SILVER!
The charger has a common spring, the nozzle has a 5-step graduated scale marked: 55 - 60 - 65 - 70 - 75 (decigrammes).
Statistics: overall length included nozzle is 185 mm (7.3 Inches) - widest point measures 85 mm (3.3 Inches).
Condition: sharp embossing! Some shallow dents. Seams are very good.
Hallmarks are crisp! The charger is complete and in working order with strong original spring.
