Vintage antique (1919-1929) Carl Gebauer Vase. Stamped \"GERMANY\" and \"22\" on the bottom rim. Cobalt blue background with slip glaze abstract floral design in bold primary colors somewhat similar to Dutch Gouda. Decorations cover virtually the entire piece. People describe Gebauer\'s style in various ways, including Early Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Secessionist. Approx. 6 inches high and about 6 inches wide at widest part. Top opening is about 3 1/2 inches across. Base is 3 1/4 inches across. No chips, cracks or crazing. One tiny glaze \"pimple\" just below the rim, such irregularities are common in heavily glazed pieces like this. They don\'t get much better than this!
