This is a good running engine out of a Farmall M I\'m parting out. The serial # is FBK 71597X, from the tractor itself. The 1st 2 pics show what you are getting. The other 2 were pics I took before I pulled it. You get the basic engine, complete valve cover to oil pan but no accessories. No carb, clutch, generator, manifold, distributor or live hydraulic pump. I bought the tractor for parts. All we did was clean the points & carb & it fired right up. Had real good oil pressure. I left it sit there & run for nearly 20 minutes. No major noises came from it other than some typical tappet noise. Had good clean antifreeze when I drained that. It ran smooth & did not appear to smoke. The base of the oil canister was leaking oil. I tightened the bolt, was fairly loose. Not sure if that is all it is or not. I did notice a patch or weld on the bottom of the oil pan. Right in a corner like something hit it. It is not leaking any oil at all in this spot at all. Engine looks typical for its age but fairly clean. Not covered in fresh oil. There is dirt & oil on it from 70 years but nothing bad at all. Should be a good useable engine as is. Sold as is.
