This business grade D620 laptop has Windows XP Professional installed and is ready to use right out of the box. It includes an integrated wireless card and RJ45 network card, so it\'s ready to connect to any high speed internet service. The massive 500GB hard drive will hold 5 million pictures that are 100K in size. I recommend buying business grade laptops because they will last much longer than most consumer grade computers. The Dell D620/D630 are my favorite laptops and two of the best ever made in my opinion. I’m so confident in the quality of this laptop that I’m including a free 3 year replacement warranty in case a problem arises. The 3 year warranty is valued at over $150. You will find that most sellers only offer a 30 to 60 day warranty on a used or refurbished laptop. I have been selling laptops on since 2003 and I stand behind everything I sell. Description: This business grade D620 laptop is used but in very good condition. I added a new 500GB hard drive, new laptop bag, new USB mouse, good battery and more ram at no extra charge. The 3 year warranty and shipping are free as well.I upgraded the memory to 4GB which will greatly improve the overall performance. Windows only shows 3.25GB but it physically has 4GB.I installed Open Office Suite for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, graphics, databases and more. It is fully compatible with all versions of Microsoft Office. I also installed Avast free edition to protect your computer from viruses and spyware. I use stock photos in all of my sales, but you will receive the exact same model notebook as pictured. All of my laptops are in a grade B to B+ condition. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best) these are all 8 or better. They are not new but Im sure you will be impressed with the condition. The majority of my D620 laptops will include a black or silver vinyl skin LCD cover. These laptops are in very good physical condition but because the top covers are exposed most of them will have minor scratches. If the condition of the top cover drops below an 8, I will apply the vinyl skin cover. The cover really dresses up the appearance and provides and extra layer of protection. If the top cover has very minor blemishes and has a grade of 8 or better I will not apply the skin. Noteabout the end of Microsoft XP support: Microsoft has stopped creating Windows updates for XP, but thisis not as bad as it sounds. As long as you have a good antivirusprogram on the laptop, Windows XP will work perfectly for many yearsto come. I used Windows 2000 and NT for several years after thesupportstopped without an issue. The only problem I have seen is the internet explorer webbrowser runs slower than it should with the XP operating system. Thatis why I have installed Google Chrome on all of my XP machines.Google Chrome performs about twice as fast as internet explorer on XP computers. And since Microsoft stopped creating new updates for XP, Google Chrome will be more secure than IE as well. This laptop is compatible with Windows 7 so you could always install Windows 7 in the future if needed. Iwould recommend leaving XP on the laptop though. I love Windows 7, but XP is stillmy favorite operating system. My primary desktop computer has XP andand Im sure I will still be using it 5 to 10 years from now. We use Norton\'s 360 on all of our home andbusinesscomputersand they have been free ofvirusessince the day we first installed the software in2007.This laptop has thefree version of Avast installed which does a good job of protecting the computer as well.
