We are pleased to offer you this vintage men\'s hat, in the classic Trilby styling.
This hat is in excellent condition, and has been gently worn.
The sweat-bandhas a small light-colored wear-mark, as can be seen in the thumb-nail photos.
This hat is labelled \"Large\", and measures 23\" around the interior, which indicatesa 7 3/8 hat size.
The hat also has a \"registered union\" label showing that it was made in the U.S.,by the \"United Hatters, Cap, Millinery Workers Union International\" (which is indicative of its age).The label has been marked with ink, as can be seen in the thumb-nail photo above.
The woolen fabric is a black and off-white tweed, with multi-colored \"fliers\" of blue,red, yellow, and purple scattered throughout (as in a Donegal tweed).
Thebrim measures 1 5/8\" and the hat-band is made of the same tweed material,accented with a black plastic \"buckle\".
The interior is fully lined with a black satinyfabric.
Ideal for autumn and winter strolls, this hat is a classic accompaniment to a vintageovercoat or Barbour waxed-cotton coat, and tweed is easilycoordinated in any season.
