At The Farm, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our in-house tech staff. We then photograph each instrument with high-quality equipment in our on-site photography studio. This process takes over an hour for each instrument - from inspection to pictures. We care about the instrument we put into your hands! Rest assured your guitar was not just plucked off of a shelf and drop-shipped to you from a warehouse without the care that it, and you, deserve.

The Fender Precision Bass is one of Fender\'s most iconic instruments. The electric bass was a Leo Fender first, and opened new avenues to bass players around the world - with a new bass sound that you could actually hear. In nearly every video or recording, a Fender bass can be heard in the mix and the Precision Bass has been played by countless famous bass players.

This vintage Precision Bass was made in 1973 in the USA. It features a Maple neck with a C shaped profile and a Maple fretboard with 20 frets and black dot inlays. It is equipped with a P style split single coil pickup, a 4 saddle hardtail bridge, chrome Fender clover leaf style open gear tuners and volume and tone knobs.

The pots on this P Bass date to 1973. It plays well with minimum fret wear. It appears the body was replaced some time ago, although we do not know the specific history. It has flatwound strings on it right now and comes with a Fender hardshell case.

This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!

Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
