This is a classic. Serial # 551259, this bass is in great shape for it\'s age. It comes in the original hard shell case which also comes with a few scuffs and scratches from basic wear and tear as I have tried to show.. The guitar itself has a few scuffs on the back and a fair scratch as noted in the photos. It also has some markings on the back, which I am told come from a chemical reaction of the paint and plastic casing on the spiral cord that was used at the time, before they knew about it. Not too bad as it adds to the overall character of this piece. I think the knobs have been replaced as well. Solid body, maple neck make this classic bass a lasting treasure.I have taken it to a professional for inspection and all is well. Thanks for looking and good luck.
