DESCRIPTION: FRESH ESTATE FIND.......Presenting a striking vintage Art Deco 1930\'s chrome cocktail shaker or pitcher with a fabulous Art Deco stepped design. I especially love the top decorative finial. There are no marks underneath. It measures 13\" tall to the top of the lid and 4\" across the bottom. It has a brilliant lustrous shine. This nifty cocktail shaker is in good original vintage condition with no dents or cracks. However, there is one area along one band of the shaker about 3/4 the way up where the chrome has developed several crazed surface fissures. This must be due to its age or perhaps storage conditions. It is very hard to see and only at a particular angle. See the last two photos for a close-up. I filled the shaker with water, and it functioned perfectly (no leaking). Also, there are a couple of areas on the handle with a bit of chrome plating loss. See the 5th and 6th photos for close-ups. The interior of the shaker is in very good condition. Although this vintage Art Deco chrome cocktail shaker is not perfect, it is still iconic in its design and displays wonderfully.
