FISHER 440T RECEIVER , W/ WALNUT CASE, PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED

This professionallyrestoredClassic American Made Receiver is in beautiful physical and electrical condition from a non smokinghome. This is an American made solid state receiver with the famous Fishertube-like voicing. It has been fully restored and tested with all new highquality capacitors and resistors in relevant locations. Soft start circuitryhas been added to the amplifier along with much larger capacitors to provide avery powerful deep bass capability. The amplifier powers up slowly like a tubeunit in order to charge the largercapacitors with the soft start circuit. All lamps have been replaced and allfunctions have been tested including the great FM Stereo Tuner, the very quietmagnetic phono inputs, the auxiliary inputs and the tape monitor inputs andoutputs. All switches and potentiometers have been cleaned and lubricated. Thefront panel is in very good condition with no loss of any printing. The Walnutcase and vented grate are in beautiful condition. I would like to mention a minor defect of the wooden cover: there is a small scratch of about half inch on the right side of the wooden cover. It is hardly for us to see this defect when we look at the item in the front. The case alone is worth over$100. This is an extremely beautiful looking and performing receiver. The soundis very warm with deep bass and delicate high frequency.
