The theme of the game is Medieval. The backgammon board, was manufactured out of real wood including thegenuine leather play field. The playing pieces are made of 100% bronze.
15 pieces have been adorned with.999 silver plating while the other15 pieces have a 22K gold plating.
The pieces (chips) are substantial in weight measuring an1\". The game set comes with two dice cups, four dice and the customary doubling cube. The set also includes15 information cards, which give you a little story on each of the people, depicted on the playing pieces.
The set measures 26\" long, 14.75\" wide and 4\" tall. This set is in great condition and if it would not be for the missing box, I would call it new.
The playing pieces still retain their beautiful sparkle. All information cards are invery goodcondition. On each side of the game board is a pull out drawer where the game pieces, dice cups, and dice, are hidden. Each playing piece has a recessed space. Each draw has a brass knob.
