This bayonet is in excellent condition with many proof marks and a strong Chatellerault marking dated September of 1875. There is a dark patina on the scabbard and crossguard, although the blade is bright. Serial number on the bayonet is 35464. On the scabbard 15444. There is a small crack and some gouges on the wooden part of the grip. Payment is expected within 72 hours of the close of the sale. I usually ship within two business days of receiving payment.
