Listed for sale is a very niceoriginal French Model 1829 Mounted Artillery Saber. In very nice condition withsome discoloration and pitting on the scabbard and in places on the swordblade. The blade is tight and some movement in the wire on the handle. Theleather on the guard is not original. The sword has been cleaned with no makersmark on the sword. Very possible saw use in the American Civil War.
