DescriptionA Great ROUND Tin Cheese Strainer, 19th Century, with its original tin feet and hanging hook, signed \"FRIES\" on the front.
It has wonderful punched decoration all around.
This cheese strainer is in untouched condition. Original surface and patina.
This strainer was used in the making of \"schmiercase\" or what today we call \"cottage cheese\". No repairs or restorations. The strainer is round and stands on three attached turned feet. The handle is original and every solder joint is original and intact.
The strainer is approximately 5 1/4\' wide, including handle and 3\" tall.
