To Continental Army soldier \"Mr. Norman Newell\". Any \"Newell\"descendants out there?
Filled out in hand and signed by Connecticut State Treasurer, \"Lawrence\".
Hole-canceled by the State - the hole in the bond is the cancellation affixed when redeemed - not a defect.
Soldier received bond\'s face value plus interest as annotated by hand on the back of the bond.
Presented and preserved in a Postal Commemorative Society bonded-leather collector\'s folio.
Revolutionary War artwork and background information included. Perfect for gift giving.
