We have a Regimental that belonged to Gefr. Schnez. This 1/2L 10” tall porcelain stein was made for the 1. Comp. Wurtt.Train Batl. No 13. in Ludwigsburg Germany from 1895 to 1897. The scene includes training scenes and girlfriend. The large horse & rider finial and lid is made from pewter. There is a lithophane in the bottom of a man and woman that can be seen when the beer stein has been emptied. The stein has no chips or cracks. There is a spider shaped hairline in the thin porcelain of the lithophane. This stein is a very rare stein and would be a great addition to any advanced collectors collection.
