This is an original GOLD edition Gil HibbenWarbird Bowie, in second condition! This knife was made in1995. It measures 15\" overall, with an 8-5/8\" blade.
Thehandle is black,with a double gold wire wrap; the guard andpommelare
covered in pure gold. The blade is marked on the leftside with: \"UC 852 KB /
Stainless/ Taiwan\". There is a small mark over the \"KB\"thatdesignates there
is no sheath or box.This knife was afactory sales sample they sold us when we bought the contents
of the UnitedCutlery sample room, some years back. There are various marks
and small imperfections in the gold plate on the guard but it doesn\'t detract from
the overall look of the knife. The blade is in excellent condition. This knife has no serial number--it was a sample knife, kept in the factory,and
rather scarce for that reason. As you know, United Cutlery wentbankrupt and
was liquidated by the US Bankruptcy Court in January, 2007. And this Gil Hibben Gold Warbird Bowie will never be made again.
