Hi , up for sale is one(RED)SILHOUETTE 650emergency reserve parachute made by GQ SECURITYinvery goodconditionwith the comfortable velour backingand im also including a storage / travel bag .It was owned by agerman glider pilot who always took very good care of it and had it inspected and repackedtwice ayearwith the last repack in 2010. The logbook showing all inspections / repacks and signed off by the rigger will be included . These parachutes are used by all kinds of pilots , such as aerobatic , glider , ultralight , balloon , experimental pilots and others . TheGQ SILHOUETTEis a great parachute for pilots with no skydiving experience since it works with a spring loaded parachute . The way it works is thatwhen in an emergency you pull the ripcord , the back of the container opens and a spring loaded pilot chute pops out . This pilot chute then immediatly fills with air and pulls out the main canopy . This is a great system for pilots with no skydiving experience since the spring loaded pilot chute shoots away fromyour body no matter in what position your falling ( tumbling ) . Therefore there is much less of a chance that the pilot will become tangled in the lines .It is also a very fast system , needing only 100 meters of hight to fully inflate . The canopyis in exellent like newconditionand the container is in very good condition .
