Up for sale is an Civil war numbered badge( can still read the numbers on it) it is very readable still after all these years. Starting left to right each point of the star has an insignia. Crossed swords, crossed rifles, crossed cannons, infantry horn, and anchor. The reverse side Has the Federal Shield with the crops insignia.The GAR badge was authorized by the U.S congress to be worn on the uniform by Union Army Veterans. Really cool I Think.
