Hi,
I have a Gravely 8183 T for sale. Sale includes tractor as seen in pictures without mowing deck and without suicide steering knob. Includes one extra Onan engine that is assembled and ran with some smoke when took out of service, another extra Onan engine that is dissembled…not sure if all parts are there…but can confirm for interested buyer, and one non factory garden plow that is rusted, but should free up with some elbow grease. The tires are newer…bought in the last 10 years…with a good amount of tread. This tractor has factory hydraulic lift, a factory rear lift hitch, and 1,590.5 hours on it. The original seat is long gone and it currently has a Cushman type seat. This tractor runs completely fine for periods of time and then bogs with a loss of power at random times. I think the voltage applied to the coil is being shorted or lost due to a bad ignition switch or plain out short. I put a new set of points on but never dialed them in at the correct dwell and let the tractor sit for awhile. I can get running if the buyer requires some proof that the engine runs…just haven\'t wasted my time on it. Questions I have been asked: Original engine? Yes, from what I can tell...B48M..matching shields and paint. Any other problems? The band brake needs fixed/ relined/ replaced. Will I accept personal check? Yes, under the condition it clears before the tractor is taken out of my possession…would have to send via mail beforehand…so you are not turned away for pickup.Thanks for all the responses so far, nice to see all the Gravely diehards out there.
