H. HeG. GrewC. Cheerful After Using H.G.C 3 DAYS
Unusual antique lithographed tin embossed sign advertising HGC medicine, an old over-the-counter injected cure for various catarrhal conditions (head, nasal, or sinus inflamation). HGC was made in New Orleans, Louisiana by the Acme Chemical Manufacturing Company during the late 1800\'s. Sign measures 9 1/2 by 7 inches. The figure of the man, the big box he\'s pointing at, and the big HGC letters, are all press molded so that they stand out from the flat background of the sign.
A perfect example of Quackistry of the late 1800\'s early 1900\'s. Ha-Ha
This is an original sign, not a reproduction.
