In October of 1939, the Lima Locomotive Works built for theSouthern Pacific, AC-9 #3811 under construction #7776, as part of an order of12 engines of this type. These AC-9 locomotives were of the conventional designand were all coal burners as built but in 1950 conversion to burning fuel oilbegan for this class.

This Key Imports model was purchased new in 1994 andimmediately tested on a 3’ section of track with no issues and re-packed in thebox until recently removed for these pictures. This superbly detailed modelexhibits the excellent craftsmanship from the Samhongsa factory, coastingdrive, pristine paint finish and perfect construction. Box, foam and specification sheet are all in perfect condition.

The buyer will pay $80.00 for the model to be shipped, fullyinsured by USPS Priority Mail. This amount is based on coast to coast shippingfrom where I live. If the actual shipping cost is below this amount, the differencewill be refunded to the buyer.
