Rare Flask bottle by Sauze Freres Compay, the bottle is now empty, but once contained the scent, Chypre. This perfume was put on the market between 1928-1929 in Paris France.
The half doll measures4.5 inches long and the bottle measures 5 inches. The half doll and bottle togetherweighs over 1 pound.
I\'m not sure ifSauze Freres issued these dolls on their bottles, or if this was created later . I have seen one other bottle similar to this one from another Frenchcompanya few years ago, and it was a special promotion bottle.
The clothes are original to the period and are an ivory lace over silk, looks like it was once a rich purple color. See photos of the underside of the dress. The outfit is enhanced with a paste Rhinestone belt.
The half doll is a glossy porcelain with both arms on her chest. She has rosy cheeks and red lips. I have not tried to pull the clothes off the doll and bottle to see any markings on the doll. The bottle is marked: Sauze Paris FRES
