Being that I know very little on Chronometers you must ask questions of importance to you. What I can tell you is when wound it ticks . It seems to be in very good condition for its age. Please look at pictures for condition. the Mahogany Box is in good condition other than a few nicks on the front of the box, which I am sure can be restored. The box seems to be the original with the brass Hamilton plate and the plate that reads \"US Maritime Commission\" I do not have what is called the outer box for it however, I have seen many for sale on for a reasonable price.

Again I do not know a lot about these so I did not want to mess with it.

This is being sold as is and as found condition

I would think cleaning and service of this beautiful Chronometer should be considered.

I will pack and ship very carefully with insurance.

Again ask all questions before offerding.
