Offered for offerding is a lovely porcelain plate made during the NIPPON era (pre-1921). It has a glossy white finish, with a wide blue band around the edge, interrupted by six handpainted images of pink roses, either singly or in pairs, evenly spaced around the plate.

The plate measures 8 1/4 inches (21.0cm) in diameter.

The plate is printed on the bottom in red, with the words \"Hand Painted\" above a green crown logo. Below that is \"NIPPON\" in green block capitals (see picture 3). I do not know the manufacturer that used this mark.

There are no chips or cracks on this plate, and no surface scratches that I could see, but the gold trim shows some wear. Be sure to check out the other fine porcelain items I have for sale or sale this week, including Made in Japan and Nippon items!
