Heavy weight copper on metal cookware.
The exterior is copper. Stainless steel lining (the food touches only stainless steel). The inner core is either stainless steel or aluminum (I\'m not sure). Cast brass handles.
Medium size sauce pan.8 inch diameter. 4 quarts, when filled to the brim. For cooking, the max volume should be about 3 quarts.
Cop R Chef branding on the handle.This is from the 1980\'s and has been discontinued for many years.
This is an All Clad line of fine copper clad cookware. All Clad is top of the line in US stainless steel cookware, this copper cookware is probably also top of the line in US made cookware. (All Clad has finished first in stainless product testing on a well known TV cooking show.) So it\'s an excellent brand.
Copper cookware is quick to heat up and quick to cool down. Very even heating. I am listinganother panasmaller version of this in a separate sale. If the same purchaser buys more than 1 item at the same time, some shipping discounts can be arranged.
Very good vintage condition. Some minor signs of wear, including surface scratches and discolorations. The interior is in great condition, ready for cooking. Needs cleaning and polishing (if desired). The bottom appears to be nice and flat.
DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE DISHWASHER. IT WILL TARNISH. BarKeeper\'s Friend makes a copper cleaner. Others are also good.
