I am listing several saddles from a local Rancher who is in his 90\'s.
I am writing what I am told by him regarding each saddle.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I will get answers for you.
THIS SADDLE IS HEAVY...SHIPPING REFLECTS - IF IT IS ANY CHEAPER I WILLNOTIFY
This particular saddle he said was from his father and had been in the family for years when his father was given it and then he was given it. So I am assuming it is -Very old !!!

I did not go crazy on cleaning the saddles as I did not want to ruin the patina on them.
Saddle is useable from what he says - once the sheepskin is put back on or use a heavy pad.
Everything is all original except for one of the tie straps.
there is some wear and tear and some rippage or stitching that has come undone on the back - see photos.
This saddle is very heavy and well made from what I am told and can see - It does need the sheepskin put back under as it was eaten by rats or squirrels and he removed it.
Tree he says is rawhide wrapped wood- if that makes sense.
Double rigging ties.
the colors and texture and tooling are really rich and beautiful.
Saddle has seen a lot of ours and a lot of cows
One legging was ripped by a Spanish Bull(not sure why but he emphasized - Spanish)
he had it repaired - I show a photo.
He said he was lucky he did not have to get stitched up himself - that the saddle gave all for him
