In the canon of mid-century design, Heywood-Wakefield\'s blonde bedroom furniture holds a particular place of honor. Bringing elements of art deco, burgeoning modernism, and fresh Scandinavian design to the table, the furniture caught on instantly with its intended middle-class audience. After a brief decline, the striking look and quality made its way out of thrift shop basements and into the homes of savvy mid century collectors. The Leo Jiranek designed Niagara vanity, sleek but vast and impressive, remains one of the company\'s most popular pieces.

WOOD: Birch - as was nearly all H-W furniture at this time, not maple as commonly believed.
WOOD CONDITION: very good, only very minor finish wear. Appears to be original finish.
OTHER CONDITION ISSUES: Very small scratches to glass desktop.
MEASUREMENTS: 52\" L x 18.5\" D x 60.5\" T to the top of the mirror. Desk height 22.25.\"
