This is another of those locomotives that has been in a display case for some time. I put it on the layout and it ran but it does need a very good cleaning and lube before use. This is a very unusual locomotive. Look at the pictures and you will want to add this rare locomotive in your collection. In the book The Second Diesel Spotters Guide, it is stated there were only 13 of these NW5\'s ever built. Here is a Burlington Northern NW5 number 991. Yes it is the correct number and looks just like the full scale version. There are pictures of the full scale one on the internet. I had never seen myself.
