This is an awesome and interesting lot of Van Briggle pottery. You will get all of the pieces in the photos! So, here is the story...

I am a serious Van Briggle collector and have been since 1969. Over the years I have purchased hundreds of pieces through and various sources and occasionally they will arrive broken, cracked, chipped or otherwise damaged. Well, these are those pieces. Since I love the pottery so much I tried my hand and doing some restoration. It is really hard work, piecing them together, sanding them, priming them, resanding and getting the surfaces all right where you like them. But the hardest part is color. These are cold painted. I experimented with dozens of paints and paint techniques trying to find one that was honorable, yet true to the Van Briggle spirit. I settled on a custom brown that buffs out to a matte, yet sometimes silky shine. Each one comes out differently, depending on when it was buffed out. They aren\'t perfect, but after working on them for months trying to get them perfect my wife said they have to go! So here you go, total oddball collection of busted pieces that look awesome. I\'ll also throw in a couple other busted pieces that I never got around to restoring - what a deal!
