The pips were slipped into shoulder boards for both Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers. This single pip came in a box lot of WWI US Doughboy Insignia and memorabilia. The listing is for the single pip only.

The pip is magnetic. There is lot rust. The prongs are strong and intact. The pip measures approximately .6 by .6 by .8 inches. It has a dull silver or gray finish and is finely detailed.

The World War I Imperial German Officer or NCO\'s Pip should be acceptable for sale world wide as this is the insignia of a soldier who served Imperial Germany in WWI. There are no political or offensive markings present, as this is an Imperial German item under Kaiser Wilhelm.
