An exquisite folk art whimsypincushion of deep olive brown colored velvet

beadedwith a central flower with delicate sprays between petals.

Representative of the Seneca stylebeadwork from the Goat Island complex of Niagara Falls.

Beautiful hand cut glass beads, especially on the tassels, indicative of the quality of that period.

Circa: 1920s

Condition:

VERY GOOD

No loss of beads.

There is a stain across the dark teal cotton backing,

and one small pinhole.

Binding, tassels, and loop are in very good condition.
