Good condition overall with very nice and mostly bright blade. Scabbard has scattered corrosion to the chrome over brass finish. There are a couple of small chips to the carved horn grip and the twisted wire wrap is missing. These were used through WWII by lower rank Japanese Army officers. Imperial chrysanthemum on both sides of the grip. Shipping weight 3 pounds.
