Original Japanese WW2 Officer\'s Sword with Scabbard. My dad was commissioned in the Pacific Theater in WW2 on the islands and this sword was taken in securing the island.34.5\" total length (hilt to tip)
Blade is 29 1/4\", scabbard is 30.5”Blade looks to be in good shape with just minor signs of wear and use. Fantastic tiger striped handle with brass structure, looks and displays great. Sword comes with original scabbard which has some signs of wear & use as well, a few dings, wear to surface from decades of storage and use apparently. Scabbard has some rust spots (which I will not clean to keep original)Please see all the many photos for exact condition and ask any questions before offerding. Being sold as is.
