JAPANESE SOLDIERS COOKWARE SET
This is a a cooking set for a Japanese soldier, vintage WW2. It consists of a lower aluminum container or pot that has a handle. Inside is a tray that stays slightly above the bottom. This would be for steaming rice or other food. Then the lid would be used as a bowl. There is a stamp inside that says ALUMINUM OSAKA. There is also a stamp that looks like a backwards C and I assume it is an inspector mark. On the outside there is some Japanese writing scratched into the surface. Maybe this is the soldiers name? If anyone can read it, please let me know...
