Here to sell at sale to the highest buyer is a real nice 1951 John Deere MCCrawler. This crawler was restored 12 years agoand still looks fresh. This is a clean and reliable machine. Steering isgood as the video shows. Ready togo to work or show.On around Jan. 15th we had a John Deere mechanic who lives 20 miles away do a inspection on it has we have someone from 900 miles away who is also considering buying it. This was his independent report: \"This machine is in good condition. Sprockets about 70 percent. The raise and lower hydraulics function normally. Steering clutches both operate equal. No leaks no damage. No issues. No recommended repairs. My opinion unit is in good usable condition. Bill M.\"This MC Crawler I\'m helping the owner sell. It\'s a nice older restored MC Crawler. Looks real good as you can see and very straight.
Has all the options including PTO, Drawbar, Optional Belt Pulley and Lights. Runs great, no issues, nice steering and undercarriage. The video was takenwhen it was in town for a tune up at a shop and it\'s now back at the owners stored inside at Niles, MI.
Since the pictures and video were done we have put on a new air cleaner cap since the old one came off while hauling the MC and we replaced the throttle handle with a correct new one as the previous one had a break in it. Also the magnetic side display plates you see on the front lower sides of the crawler and saying this is a model MC have been removed for the next owner. These had been put on by the previous owner with his name when he took this MC crawler to shows.
As you may know the MC was the first crawler made under the John Deere name. This all followed John Deere\'s successful purchase of the Lindeman plant where the BO Lindeman was made and was the beginning of Deere\'s now famous construction equipment division.
