The blade is signed \"Osaka junin motte Nisen roppyaku-nen (1940), Gassan Sadakatsu kinsaku. kao shape, WWll time period made blade.Sadakatsu\'s real name isGassan Eitaro,was borninOsaka prefecture on Nov. 2,1869. He is son of 1st generation Sadakazu, listed in John Slough\'s book page 140, 141and rated3million yen.The blade isin oldfull polish with originalububa, no rust, no stain, no scratchand inmintcondition.The temper line is wavygunome with chojitemper pattern and has deeptemper at the point. The forging grain is tight itame-hada and no forging flaws at all. There is no bend, no crack and cutting edge issharp. The scabbardis heavy metalscabbard,no lacquer loss, nodents,no bend andinexcellent condition. Thehandle is tight fit, tsuka-ito wrappingisno loose,no cutalso ingood condition.Tsuba and seppa are matched number17 stamped.
