This toy is a great example of the Kilgore SPORT cast iron cap gun.

Theoriginal darkfinish is in perfectshape. The gun has never been cap fired.

The action works & makes a loud snap sound whentrigger is set & pulled.

A unique feature is the extra large hammer which held the Mammoth caps sold

for this and other Kilgore guns of the era. They were LOUD!

7 1/2 inches in length. Produced in 1930. Listed in the Logan & Best book, # S30.5

There is noplay wear. Original dark finish is flawless.A really nice collectors piece.

Policy: a BLAZE ORANGE PLUG is affixed to the barrel to show that it\'s a toy cap gun and can\'t be made to fire a projectile.
