- DESIGN: An elegant and highly sophisticated vintage Atomic Modern Brass \"No. 8\" lamp designed by Clay Michie for Knoll furniture designs circa 1950\'s. This adjustable lamp can rotate a full 360 degrees from either its base or mid-point joint as well as a positional shade joint allowing angled fitting of the shade. The parts are primarily manufactured of solid Brass with an enameled spun Aluminum shade which are very well machined and manufactured. This lamp is very well documented in the Bible of 20th century lighting, \"1000 lamps\" by Taschen books, and bears full patent markings as pictured.
- CONDITION: This iconic Mid Century Modern lamp is in excellent original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Primarily solid brass which exhibits light signs of wear and faint patina with some tarnish spots to the base but no damage or repair evident. The push switch, sockets and power cord appear original and have been inspected to be clean, safe and functional. The original perforated disk shaped shade is perfectly clean without issues...it appears that it may have been re-enameled but looks legit and original in every The lamps general dimensions are 15\" tall by 17\" wide in its standard position, the shade is 12\" diameter…bulb is NOT included.
